FAQs

FAQs

What is the biggest difference of the full beam vs. the half beam?
It is longer, wider, and heavier – therefore easier to tow.

Does this come with hydraulic fluid?
Yes, all products that require hydraulic fluid are shipped with hydraulic fluid.

Should I leave fuel stored in my unit?
No, fuel should not be stored in the unit. It is important to prevent gum deposits from forming in the fuel system. If the unit is to be stored for longer than 30 days — drain the fuel tank, retighten the gas cap, start the unit and let it run until it stops.

Very impressed! I really liked the hydraulic controller and the four way splitter. Operation was very smooth. I have used log splitters for almost 20 years and this is something that I would like to replace the current unit. The spinner plate is a great idea!

-Joel M.

This is the most impressive splitter I have ever used. The speed and elegance that is afforded by the power of this model is unparalleled. It cut through some of the greenest, most knotty wood imaginable with ease. I like the Briggs and Stratton engine.

-Craig D.

Strong for a smaller version. Even when the log seems impossible, the ram keeps pushing through, splitting the log (4 head splitter), powering right through! Very impressive work horses!

-Lonny K.

At first, the engine seemed too small, but after using, it powered through all of the logs. It seemed well built. The U beam seems like a very strong support for the splitter.

-Mark D.

Best value on the market. The power and size of this unit can tackle any job. The unit splits the wet or dry wood with ease. I put 2 foot diameter wet wood on the cradle and the splitter made quick work of the wood. The cradle catches the split product making it easy to split and stack, minimizing strain on the back.
